Engine & Gearbox Warranty Policy

Any additional commercial warranty for your exact engine, gearbox or part is confirmed in writing before payment. Your quotation or invoice states the duration, start date, covered components, exclusions and claim process. Do not assume that every catalogue listing has the same warranty.

Clear cover before purchase

Ask us to confirm the unit's condition, included components, available inspection or test information and written cover. Internal engine or gearbox faults and accessory cover must be described for the unit supplied. Labour, removal, refitting, towing and other costs are addressed in the written terms and applicable law.

Professional installation

Use a suitably qualified installer. Confirm engine or gearbox codes and fitment, follow the applicable service procedures, and use the correct fluids and required replacement service items. Keep installation and maintenance records. Tell us promptly about any suspected fault and avoid continued operation or dismantling before discussing assessment.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, overheating, lack of lubrication, misuse or unauthorised alteration may fall outside additional commercial cover. A claim will be considered on its evidence; these examples do not automatically remove rights provided by law.

Your consumer rights

Any additional warranty operates alongside applicable consumer rights. Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, its implied quality protection and remedies are not reduced by the written warranty or our returns procedure. See our returns and faulty-goods policy for assistance.
